The Cookie Family

Our story begins in mom's kitchen.  There was always that familiar smell of cookies.  Cookies when we got home from school, cookies for our class parties, and cookies especially for the holidays.  It is a tradition our family has grown up with and one that we continue to pass along to our children.

It all started with mom's chocolate chip cookie recipie.  Our baking skills were learned at an early age.  It was a busy house with 5 children, grandma and grandpa.  Mom welcomed the help in the kitchen and her love of baking was all inviting to most of us.  Our brothers enjoyed eating the goodies more than baking them.  Our one brother's attempt at baking was to make brownies from scratch.  Instead of using a cup of sugar, he used salt.  After we all drank a gallon of water, he responded by saying that they look a lot alike.  That was the last time he was invited to bake with us girls.

As we grew up and moved on to our own families, we continued perfecting the chocolate chip cookies and eventually ventured out into creating a variety of homemade cookies.  Whenever we were invited to parties or holiday events, people always asked if we could bring the cookies.  The more we made them, the more people would want them.  Then there are the questions that follow the first timers cosumption of the cookies, "How do you keep them so soft?", "How do you bake them so evenly?", and of course, "What is the recipie?"  We became known as the cookie lady.

The Cookie Family is dedicated to sharing our joy and love of baking cookies.  We are a family that continues to bring tradition, pride, and quality into our work.  All of our cookies are homemade from scratch.  We welcome your feedback or suggestions to help our family grow.  Thank you to all our family and friends that support and encourage us every day.
